Muesli cookies

Recipe from: Foodyplease

Why muesli cookies? Every morning, it’s the same dilemma: what shall I eat for breakfast today? And every time, I face the same problem: “I don’t have time to prepare a good and balanced breakfast”.

So I decided to make muesli biscuits so that I could enjoy a healthy and delicious start to the day. By replacing traditional sugar with Zùsto, I avoid eating huge amounts of sugar in the morning.

Put the cookies in an airtight box to keep them longer.

Ingredients

  • 50 g of butter
  • 50 g of Zùsto
  • 70 g wheat flour
  • 50 g oatmeal
  • 1 tablespoon baker’s yeast (fresh or dried)
  • 1 egg
  • A few dried fruits of your choice (almonds, cashews, goji berries, etc.)

Preparation method

  1. Mix the butter with the Zùsto.
  2. Add one egg and mix well.
  3. Sift the flour and add it to the mixture, then add the yeast.
  4. When the dough is smooth, add the oats and dried fruit (you can coarsely chop the dried fruit to make your cookies crunchier).
  5. Bake for about 10 minutes at 180 degrees. Pay attention to the baking time, as this will vary from oven to oven.(The cookies should be browned)
  6. When they are golden brown, allow them to cool and then enjoy!

About Foodyplease

It’s been two years since I launched my @foodyplease account and since then my weekends have been filled with culinary delights and new challenges.

This year, I decided to create low-waste, vegetarian, vegan and even healthier recipes.

This is why I am constantly looking for alternatives to certain products such as sugar. Zùsto is the ideal alternative. Zùsto contains 4 x fewer calories than traditional sugar, but sweetens in just the same way.
