SUGAR-FREE BROWNIES

While classic brownies usually contain added sugar, with this Zùsto version, you can definitely take a second helping!

Ingredients

  • 390 g pure chocolate
  • 270 g unsalted butter (at room temperature)
  • 480 g Zùsto
  • 250 g organic eggs
  • 270 g flour
  • 4 g baking powder
  • 150 g white chocolate (finely chopped)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C.
  2. Line a small rectangular baking tray with baking paper.
  3. Melt the butter and chocolate in a bowl in the microwave on low power. Make sure that this doesn’t overheat. Stir it every 45 seconds to make sure the chocolate and the butter melt evenly.
  4. Beat the eggs and the Zùsto until they’re light and airy. (It’s best using a mixer with a whisk to do this.)
  5. Strain the flour and the baking powder through each other to make sure they’re well mixed.
  6. Add the melted chocolate and butter to the eggs and mix until they’re completely mixed in.
  7. Add the flour and the baking powder and make sure, once again, that all ingredients are spread out evenly through the chocolate mass.
  8. Mix the finely chopped white chocolate through.
  9. Pour the brownie mixture on the baking tray (approximately 2 cm thick) and put it in the oven on the middle shelf.
  10. Bake the sugar-free brownies in the oven for 35 minutes.
