Ingredients

For 6 servings

Fruit and chocolate

  • 4 pears
  • 80g pure chocolate *
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon Zùsto

For the crumble

  • 80g wheat flour
  • 80g butter
  • 80g Zùsto

*Chocolate can also be substituted with our chocolate callets. These contain fewer calories and are better for our health.

Equipment

  • Frying pan
  • A bowl
  • A knife
  • An ovenproof dish
  • An oven

Preparation method

  1. Pour the flour and Zùsto into a bowl. Add the butter in small cubes. Rub in with your fingertips until you have a granular mixture. Place the bowl in a cool place.
  2. Peel and core the pears and then cut them into cubes. Melt a teaspoon of butter in a frying pan and fry the fruit for 5 minutes over a high heat. Add a tablespoon of Zùsto and simmer for a further 5 min until the pear is caramelised.
  3. Tip the caramelised pears into a baking dish. Break the chocolate into pieces and sprinkle over the pears. Finally, add the crumble mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 mins – just long enough for the crumble to brown.
  4. Serve and eat warm (for an even better taste).
